Canvas bags produced by the rural community of El Castillo for Wanderlust Maps — hand-embroidered with 'punto de cruz' technique. Sales funded Fratello Project's education, health, and productive programs.

Wanderlust Maps was looking to offer their customers a socially responsible product that empowers a Mexican community and that was useful for their traveler's profile.

Together with Fratello Project, we developed a canvas bag produced by 'El Castillo' community. This bag was totally confectioned by Misael and Alicia, two members of El Castillo, and Wanderlust's logo was hand-embroidered with a local technique called 'punto de cruz'. Each canvas bag, when sold, raised funds that Wanderlust donated to Fratello to implement their Education, Health, and Productive programs in the community.

Successful product development and manufacture, now being validated by the market for future concepts, collaborations, and implementation of empowerment programs through Fratello Project.
